I also asked Grant about planting sugar beets and all the steps necessary, and I also found a good website...when he answers back, I will turn this post into a sugar beets post....

I was thinking about planting sugar beets in any of those 3 areas outlines on the farm because Mike never plants those areas. Depending on how easy/inexpensive it is, I may plant sugar beets in all of those areas. Grant explained sugar beets as a dessert or ice cream for deer, as opposed to the full course meals of corn and beans they eat year round. We shall see....
